  • Juice of 1 lemon

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 175°C (350°F).

  2. For the custard, heat milk in a pan. Mix semolina and sugar in a bowl, then slowly whisk into the milk over medium heat until thickened. Remove from heat and stir in eggs and vanilla. Let cool slightly.

  3. Brush a baking dish with melted butter. Layer half the phyllo sheets, brushing each with butter. Pour custard over phyllo and cover with remaining sheets, again brushing each with butter.
